honestly when aliens arrive we should start having sex with them as soon as possible. so when they decide to take over a lot of them already have emotional connections/physical offspring and will form a sizeable resistance. not me, i don’t want to, but i know a lot of you would be into that, and i’m telling you it’s okay, you’re actually the last hope for our species.

Witch Tip

bonesrowanoak:

If you feel disconnected from nature and don’t feel like you’re doing witchcraft “right” because you don’t go for walks in the woods or down by the sea, it’s okay. You don’t need to be in nature, or be silent, or still. You don’t need to live with one foot in the past. That magic has beauty and charm, but it isn’t for everyone.

There’s magic in urban places, where there are so many lights at night that your city can be seen from space. The hum of electricity is just as powerful as the sounds of nature. The wind howling down an alley has a different feel than the winds that blow the waves, but it’s no less powerful. You can so easily find the liminal spaces in late night diners and on rooftops and in the back of antique shops.

There’s magic in being surrounded by books. These books are full of your spiritual ancestors, the ghosts of witches who came before and are whispering secrets to you. Can’t you hear their voices when you turn the pages?

There’s magic right here on your computer, connecting you to a thousand thousand other witches. Magic has learned the shape of the internet, and witches have ridden it well. Little charms are passed in messages like they were once passed on parchment, spells are shared and amplified and coordinated in a great invisible web across the world.

Magic is creation. Magic is shaping the world little by little to suit your needs and desires. It isn’t where you are or what you have; it’s you. It grows in spaces where you have grown, and lives as you live.

How can you be doing magic wrong?

🌊Sea Magic and The Tides🌊

image

🌊 Flow/ Flux: Phase of incoming water. Good for growth, luck, new beginnings. Can be paired with Crescent Moon for better results.

🌊 High Tide: When water reaches its highest level, every 12 hs. Gives extra power, strength, for notorious results. Can be paired with Full Moon for better results.

🌊 Ebb/ Reflux: Phase of outgoing water. Good for banishing, destroying, cleansing. Can be paired with the Waning Moon for better results.

🌊 Low Tide: When water reaches its lowest level. Good for psychic powers, meditation, new ideas and thoughts. Can be paired with New Moon for better results.

💙 Spring and Neap tides 💙

🌊 Neap Tide: This occurs twice a month, in the First and Third quarters of the Moon. The difference between high and low tide is less than usual. This is because the Earth, the Sun and the Moon are in a right angle and the Sun’s gravitational pull counteracts the one from the Moon. This is a good time for relationships, love, bindings and such.

🌊 Spring Tide: This occurs twice a month too, approximately at Full Moon and New Moon. The difference between high and low tide is bigger than usual, because the Sun and Moon are lined with the earth and their gravitational pulls reinforce each other. During this phenomenon, you can give an extra-boost and extra power to all your spells.

💙This is from my grimoire, based on many sources and some research i’ve done myself, plus my personal studies. If you have any questions just message me or send me an ask💙

💙With love, Nao💙

melllow-vibes:

“1. Do not date a boy who does not care what your favourite song is. The boy who does not care what melodies ignite your heart strings with love and wonder while staring at passing street lights on the last train home, will not care if it’s 2 a.m. and your heart is breaking. 2. Do not let anyone fold you up like last winters tattered scarf and put you away with the others in a neatly labeled box. Even when there’s thunder and the sky is crying, you are your mum’s favourite summer dress. You are to wear yourself like you believe it. 3. We are all stories. Write yours how you want. Make today’s chapter about purposely taking the wrong bus and discovering a tiny blue tea shop, or folding origami paper hearts over and over on your window sill. Just make sure it’s something you’d enjoy reading. 4. I will always try to save you. 5. Someday you will be 19 and lost and heartbroken and you will think about a place you’ve seen on TV or heard or read about in a book or seen a picture of. You will feel your heart drop into your stomach. Go there. For a day, a month, forever, but it’s important that you go. 6. The world is so beautiful. Do not let the slumped over homeless man outside the convenience store or the stories of guns and bombs on the television let you believe otherwise. We are all so lost. All of us. We all show it in different ways. I write bad poems. Others start wars. There is no inherent evil, only good people searching too hard. 7. I love everything about you. 8. Money turns people into liars and emotional ghosts. School grades are an inaccurate representation of you. Measure your life’s worth in how many times you’ve nearly lost your life to laughter, how many books you’ve closed with happy tears in your eyes, people whose lives you’ve brought joy to, marshmallows eaten, or countries visited. 9. Don’t ever let anyone tell you to stop crying. Cry if you want to. It’s okay. You’re allowed. 10. My best friend once told me that the most important decision he had ever made was to love everyone and everything. He’s the only person I’ve ever known to have a viewable aura of light around him. Don’t forget to love this world, to love people. Be light. You are already mine.”
